Project Management

Business Analysis

e-Prim has many years of experience in Business Analysis. e-Prim enables clients to identify their business needs and determine solutions to their business problems in accordance with their business priorities. e-Prim have experience in defining software solutions throughout the software development life cycle. Many techniques and tools are used, importantly MOSCOW for Agile project requirement prioritisation within Agile projects.

e-Prim applies the principles as embodied within the BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).

Configuration Management

e-Prim has extensive experience with configuration management and its use in controlling versions of artefacts within the IT environment. This experience extends to the use of GIT for source code management.

Also the use of Atlassian suite of products, Confluence for wiki management, JIRA for issues and software delivery, Tortoise for tracking changes in documents and spreadsheets.  and Bamboo for software build management

Test Management

e-Prim expertise covers the full gamut of test management. e-Prim embraces all aspects of test management from construction of test plans thru to test cases, scripts and their subsequent execution. e-Prim uses manual and automated testing software in the execution of these tests.

e-Prim uses major test software including Rational Test Manager, HPALM, TechExcel and Parasoft.

A number of e-Prim staff are accredited by ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board).

Data Migration Management

e-Prim has been involved in the migration of databases and information from legacy systems of varying sizes. These migrations have been from databases including Oracle Sybase, sqlserverand others. Tools used are Oracle Data Integraor (ODI); Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and TRUCompare.

e-Prim applies standard ETL procedures in all of its migrations and is familiar with the principles of PDM (Practical Data Migration).

e-Prim’s core skills lie in the field of software development. e-Prim have significant experience in a number of software development life cycle methodologies, all covering requirements gathering, documentation, software development and testing with implementation.

e-Prim’s approach depends upon the method of delivery used by the client but is capable of delivering in all methods.

Technical Architecture

e-Prim’s technical architects are experienced in defining the overall structure of a system, the interfaces, architectural protocols and interactions with other systems, and possess exceptional ability to solve complex problems. Our staff are versed in determining and understanding all aspects of a system, from both a business and technical point of view thus ensuring they have a full working knowledge of the technologies in use by the customer.

Often involved in the planning of the system, e-Prim’s architects have strong communication and interpersonal skills, liaising with people from different backgrounds of the business; from management to the developer teams. Our staff work to ensure that the needs of the organisation are met whilst enforcing the organisation’s IT standards and protocols.

e-Prim have produced effective training programs for its clients. e-Prim involvement extends to assessing the training needs, developing the learning objective, designing and producing the training material, and delivery of the training.
